Since BunnyJ said he was interested in Linux Mint, I was just telling him a abbreviated version on how to Install Linux Mint and how to the keep installing windows 10 build release. The build release of windows 10 won't install if grub is installed, I know that from experience. You will get an install error. Windows updates are not an issue with grub. If you don't get the right disto for your system you won't be happy. This is why windows 10 should have installable desktops. I think if windows 10 had installable desktops, linux would loose market share even more, even with the possibility of Windows 10 becoming subscription based.
I've used it.. and I don't anymore.. I have no interest in Linux.

I understand fully, it's just that Windows 10 is the first OS I've had major problems with, and I think it's because they're trying to please too many people at once, probably because most people either didn't like or couldn't use Windows 8.
They're trying to bring back Aero and the Start Menu and there are still people complaining they don't like the Stop button. To me it's starting to look a bit messy and it's because they're trying to please everyone, which they will never do, this is Microsoft after all, the company who hasn't done anything right since DOS according to a lot of people.
I know they'll fix everything up they always have and it will be better than before, I have every confidence in Microsoft, I just wish they'd stop trying to please everyone.
I can understand why Bill Gates left the company, I would have done exactly the same thing.
Haven't done anything right? Well if that's what they say their spending doesn't indicate since MS has sold over 90% of the OS's sold in the last 20 years. They aren't bring back Aero. Bill Gates left the company because he wanted to do other things.
Last night windows installed a long upgrade. Then my keyboard (Roccat) lost its drivers and I had to plug in a small MS keyboard which worked. Then, this morning, I have no video drivers (Geforce) and the pc loaded the basic video res. Which I...
