Did you play around with your AMD card settings before?

If you did, there is a Factory Reset option on the AMD Radeon Settings window..

    Attachment 77097
    - that would indeed be useful, badrobot..
    - if only I could access the GUI..

    - as I stated before, I can't access it at all
    - it just appears as a blurred-out rectangle onscreen..

    - is there another way to do it, not using the Radeon Settings GUI..??

You are running in crossfire right? Did yoy try running one card at a time?

    Edit.
Ooops, sorry everybody. I think this issue should be on a separate thread Bugmeister. Just a suggestion.

Okay I'm still on 14316 and sick of waiting, it doesn't look like 14328 or 14332 are going to come down the pipe, is there an ISO somewhere that's not dodgy or an ESD.
I've tried the Disk cleanup and deleted downloads and still nothing.

What I did here to upgrade one VM was extract the entire BT folder from another in order to see a clean install. The main setup files are all contained in the temporary but hidden from view folder found at the root of C for each build. The manual option works when it takes too long otherwise! You simply can't use the upgrade option or watch it simply stall unlike waiting for the next to come by way of the WU.

Update on that new VM I recorded. The 332 was found when running a check again after several hours. The main build in the meantime already is scheduled for a restart showing you just don't when but wait and see just when each new build arrives!

I don't have any temp files I did a system cleanup, I suppose I could download 14295 or whatever it is, but I don't really want to do that.

If you are able to save the BT folder for any build to a safe place be sure to make a backup copy of the boot.wim file found under the "$Windows~BT(or WS in some instances if not QT seen on one occasion)\Sources\sources"sub sub folder noting the second folder by same name with the lower case "S". If you should run into the "boot.wim is missing" error it won't matter which build that comes from! Found that one out over the weekend with another VM recording project where the BT folder upgrade became a BT Folder full install when not able to upgrade the TH2 10586 with the 328 build!

When Cortana as well as the Search option on the Start menu could only find it inside the install.esd or other image file I downloaded the Search Everything app and there it was stashed away in one of my system file folders for various things like reg mods etc. That came from the 14279 or even earlier I could suspect and worked just as well.

The only other build you would be able to download would be the 10586.168 or close in number depending on the number of updated mixed into the November update there. I've been backing up the entire BT folders now for each build since the 295 brought on a few Windows sounds problems. The VM just recored for this build is seeing the same problem the main build had for the TH2 of not being able to rename folders so that wasn't something TH2 only apparently! That bug returned but only on the one VM so far. Otherwise I can add it looks good.

Sadly I had the same issue and rolled back. Have you tried the DDU to remove the AMD drivers and reinstall?

    Strange app on 14332.

    @{Microsoft.Windows.SecureAssessmentBrowser_1000.14316.1000.0_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewyms-resource--Microsoft.Windows.SecureAssessmentBrowser-Resources-PackageDisplayName}

Click, it goes to store with the "apologies" page.

    Not in Program Files\WindowsApps

Appears to be something left over from 14316

No way to uninstall it and not in registry

    Weird!!

While doing Quests, I ran across this:

When I click on Cortana from the Task Bar, she works as expected; however, when I click on Start>Cortana, I get nothing but a blank black screen.

Is this happening to anyone else?
