I get the same error after 5-10 seconds of starting, repeated tries with same results and reboot doesn't help.

got it pasted, went to the green store app and reinstalled it. still did not see it. rebooted- now I see it. Funny you would have thought before they released this one they would have fixed it without giving you a fix to do it.

I am wondering why cartano does not work if on a pc with no microphone. I have speakers, you should be able to type something in there and she still talks. I know she talks because when I put in my name and tested she said the word Robin

Well, this is still a Technical preview.

8 was not "rushed out" by any means. It was very stable and did exactly what it was supposed to do. Just because many did not like what it was supposed to doesn't mean it was "rushed"

You can use an ISO to update - you just choose "update". There are some links to download the ESD direct here if that helps ESD to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 ESD File - Page 14 - Windows 10 Forums

It's just a Preview, its not going to work 100% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
