I think it started downloading without any intervention on my part as soon as I booted up. going between 5 and 7 Mbps for now. Managed 2 deffender updates at same time.

Same here. A driver for 'Realtek High Definition Audio' can be found on a search but it won't install. The installation process times out.

Control Panel > Sound > Playback shows no audio devices installed. Tried deleting the 'High Definition Audio Device' from Device Manager and rebooting hoping it might detect/install on a reboot but that didn't work either.

No problem on the previous build.
It filaly installed for me but it took some time and a few reboots to get it done.

    Hi there

Even on the latest update to 9926 I had a problem with sound - Windows wanted to install VIA HD SOUND -- I simply did a "Roll back Driver" and it reverted to the Microsoft HD audio. The Audio problem I had was that while windows SOUND effects worked no application (such as VLC etc) would produce any sounds even though the apps were showing Sound was working !!!.

On 10041 this doesn't work as there's no driver to roll back to !!!!.

On a VM sound works of course as it's using the HOST sound and VMware tools. I'm using a LINUX Host.

I've had other issues with 10041 so until a few issues are fixed I'm leaving it. VPN for NETFLIX doesn't connect properly either --keeps re-asking for password and account so-- could be a problem with VPN's too -- Windows Networking is ALWAYS a dog anyway so what's new. Netflix working fine on build 9926.

Menu totally hosed up on 10041 --posted in another thread, Won't activate either and SEARCH totally unuseable so as I've said I'm waiting until a few fixes release or next build available.

    Cheers

Another reason to keep current and some older drivers handy.

So true.. but my audio drivers finally were installed via the windows update. When I tried to run the drivers separately it just stalled all of the time.

Just looked at my drivers catalog, I have 20+ GB of drivers I collected during last 10 years, for my computers and computers I worked on and all are zipped.

Anybody on tenforums has created ISO? I have found one, but I would prefer a reliable source.
I can not update, since I have deleted PC Settings and I do not feel like reinstalling right now.

I don't see a link on Betanews to download ISO, found on torrents though.

There is a link in comments, I did not want to link to it directly, since it against rules, I think.
