Thanks Dave,
I figured Brink figured this one out - I'm only a few months behind and often too lazy to look before posting
Once in a while I post something before Brink write the tut, but not often ... there was one tip where we posted 11 minutes apart - he still beat me
As far as things going away in the final release (your post# 34), organizations have too much invested in the way they run Windows for MS to just remove a function or feature. They might change the UI but the mechanics are still under the hood.
If they modify a DLL or change the registry keys, there's usually a way to re-instate the previous operation. That is the real beauty of Windows and part of the curse. MS has been hog tied for years having to support previous versions and legacy code.
Anyway ... thanks for pointing to the tutorial. I just implemented it. Now I have some 'extra' time to learn about other things.
I can't +rep you here in the news thread - will have to wait until I come across another one of your posts that deserve tilting the scales.
Bill
