Just installed update; so far no problems. My date format is still mm/dd/yyyy
Right away I noticed a wired USB keyboard issue fixed on the lock screen. Before I couldn't press a key to open to the user logon menu, and had to use the mouse. But now I can!

Thank you so much. Just out of curiosity, where do you find the direct download links? Is it available for access? Because using windows update and catalog updates are terribly slow and fail quite often; manualy updating these larger update files ( eg. cumulative updates) is so much easier.
Thanks again.
I've lost the possibility to create reminders in Cortana again...
Lets see if changing the language solves the problem like it did last time.
if i havent downloaded any updates from the beginning, and now just downlowd this cumulative update, do i get the latest version of windows or do i miss something?
You'll get all the fixes and improvements, but the download may take some more time because you have to download the full package.
Those who already had it installed only had to download the part of this month and not the parts that were previously released.
i'm a bit confused.
if i download JUST this cumulative update, do i need also the previous packages released in the past?
i also don't understand how a computer that was updated last month can just download a "part" of this new package
The cumulative update just download what is new since your last update
If your last update was March, the April one will have changes done since March
If your last update was Feb, the April one will have changes done since Feb
If you have never updated, the April update will have all changes
etc
