At the bottom you should see: Show your signature with a checkbox. If the checkbox is checked, it should show it.

Oh, me, guess I won't try Foxit after all:

Everything just froze up on me until I clicked on Don't Run. Sigh . . .

Looks to me that there must be a definite problem that I don't want to tangle with.

Now I got it all set: Use this site to get the older version and it installs.

OKey Dokey, here's exactly what I did the first time:

foxitsoftware.com/products/foxitreader/free download I clicked on Custom Install and placed the resulting file in a folder named PDF. There were no existing PDF apps in that folder; there is now an app named FoxitReader dated 4/20/16 11:10 AM in the folder.

The second time around, I clicked on your link above, which took me to the Download Center and I then downloaded Foxit and placed it in a separate folder (Downloads\PDF\FoxitReader) dated 4/20/2016 11:31 AM.

The third time, I went to foxitsoftware.com and clicked on Download and was taken directly to the exact same place that the link you gave above took me to. I didn't bother downloading a third time, because I already had the file from there.

When I attempted to install the first download, I got this:

When I attempted to install the second download, I got this:

    And there ya go . . .

What it looks like to me is that the issue I just discovered doesn't seem to be the same as Fafhrd's, but does seem to be "connected".

Did you try the last link?? The size of the download should be a bit over 42k.

I'm sorry, Jeff, but I don't download from any but the official software sites. You may be familiar with that site, but I'm not and I don't feel safe downloading from there. I made an exception once before and was bitten pretty badly. I appreciate the help, but . . . I don't really want Foxit Reader; I was only trying out of an interest in verifying Fafhrd's problem with it.

The final fact is that there's something wrong with Build 14316 and/or the latest version of Foxit Reader. Since we're probably within a couple of days of getting a new build, I think I'll wait. I don't want to do a clean install if things go south within days of a new build.
