Any one else have this problem, since installing build 14316 Edge and mail have become unresponsive, Edge just wont do anything, the little circle of dots spins then stops, and cant go to any website at all, and the mail client just locks up. Any ideas what's causing this. ??

Hi Moorhen and welcome to TenForums.

I was going to suggest that you install Firefox or Chrome, but if you can't use Edge, you're dead in the water. That is unless you've already downloaded one of them. :)

It looks like Microsoft has made a huge boo-boo with Build 14316 and browsers. As far as I can tell, my browser problem is the only one I have, but other similar and non-similar issues are popping up all over the place. Such as yours.

It's amazing, considering that Microsoft employees have each build for awhile before it's released to us in the fast lane, yet there are bugs that should have been caught.

Maybe they leave some of the bugs in just so we can feel important? :) Well, really, I'd rather not . . .

Thanks for the welcome, have tried rolling back to previous build several times, and then installing 24316 again, but with the same outcome. Might have to stick with 14295 for now, and see if any fixes arise.:)

Have you tried a clean install of Build 14316?

Since you're new and possibly haven't heard how to get an ISO, here's a link to the tutorial:

Thanks for that, but I'm not a complete noob, lol. I have an ISO, might just take your advice and do a clean install. Thanks again.

Good to know you're not a newbie. :)

I'd love to do a clean install on this; however, I have PaperPort 14 that won't activate again (I have reinstalled it too many times [on my Insider Builds] according to Nuance), so I'll wait to do a clean install until it becomes absolutely necessary.

BTW, this is the second time Nuance has done this to me, so I will be looking for a replacement.

As far as I'm concerned once you purchase software its yours, and you should be able to re-install as many times as you like, so I can understand your frustration.

My opinion too, unless you know it's a subscription going in.

I have no qualms about my subscription to Microsoft Office 365 2016, since I can put it on five computers for one yearly fee.

So far I haven't seen that (And I don't want to!). I just get the window asking how I want to open this no matter which browser I have set as my default. I would hate for Windows not to honor my default settings. Hmmm, since it's asking a silly question, I guess in a way my default browser setting isn't being honored.
I concur, have tried all 3 browsers and Windows 10 mail, gmail, yahoo, and office 2016 and get same response as Wynona gets.
