Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14316 Insider

My Insider 14316 has no issues at all.
However, I use IE11 as my default, and I don't use Edge at all.

Oh, crapola, I missed IE . . . back in a flash . . .

I just set IE as my default and got the "how do you wanna open this" window, so now I've tried with 100% of browsers on this system and all of them give the same results.

Hopefully this gets fixed in the next build. :)

You set them in Control Panel, right?

Settings > System > Default apps

It doesn't matter where I set them, Edwin. I've gone in from the Control Panel and from Settings and get taken to the same place no matter what.
And regardless of which way I set the default, I still get the window that wants to know how I want to open this.

Settings > System > Default apps
Yup . . . or right click Start>Control Panel>Default Programs>Choose Browser>Set this Program as Default (open all file types and protocols it can open by default).

When I go to open up Waterfox previously having FF set for the default on the 14295 build I will be greeted with the prompt to see WF made the default browser as FF did on each other build. Then you will still need to make the trip into Start>Settings>System>Apps & Features to the intended browser made the default through the option there.
IE11 was still found enabled following each new build going on since the 10565 clean install. For some reason that continues to carry over to each newer build without even needing to look as well as the other browsers only needing to see Edge replaced as the default. The folder view in Explorer and Windows Photo Viewer still have to be enabled fresh all over again however.

Looks like (spam) mail sender will react before MS. Newest mail from Amazon opens without confirmation window. :)
