Looks like MS broke Kaspersky again with 14316, not a fan of Defender so will poke around a bit then roll back to 14295 unless they patch a fix.

After rolling it back, it's Kapersky's turn to break Windows. You may not be able to run any AV at all until you clean install again. But there's a chance it will be fine. But seriously, Defender is all you need.

Wynona do you know if win aero.com is safe for downloading iso's see post 174.
I think getting the ESD file from Wzor and making your own ISO is safer.

I wouldn't download an ISO from anywhere but Microsoft, Magilla. I'm probably the biggest coward in the universe when it comes to getting software from an unknown source. Besides, Microsoft frowns mightily upon us getting new Builds from anywhere else; we could be kicked out of the Insider Program (or not). :)

I've seen too many horror stories.

Oh, and BTW, we're not supposed to post anything referring to an unauthorized Windows site. Just an FYI.
I just retread this post. I should have told him non-Microsoft sites cannot be discussed on this forum?

I personally will not get any update or build except from Microsoft update. I was trying to clarify for another forum insider.

True, that's always a chance to take when doing a preview build and one I do with my eyes wide open ( all critical data backed up ) after close to 40 years of this (8086, 8088 days anyone remember QDos ? ) I learned that lesson the hard way

Once BASH is installed, there are 2 ways to open it.

By typing "bash" at command prompt:

Or by clicking the icon from Start Menu:

Which will give you an "Ubuntu" window..

Yeah, Magilla, that would be a good thing. I always try to be diplomatic, but you know how it is. :)
