Me too, after looking at dark background I find it difficult to read texts on a white background.

That's the way I like File Explorer - dark:

I'm glad it's an option. But I'm worried about their updated Start Button. They've had a lot of problems with that.

I hear "dark mode" coming in the Windows 10 Anniversary Update does not affect File Explorer, only Universal Apps.
Also, at least currently, when dark mode is off the taskbar and start menu remain dark. No light theme for system elements, only UWAs.
