ha ha ........I've got an inexpensive 4 button high precision lazer freewheeling smooth scrolling Logitech M-500 USB mouse .
greatest thing since sliced bread PC mouse-wise short of a high end game mouse I don't need on this PC anyway and you can game OK with it also just not like a high end multi function programmable game mouse but the precision is fine for shooters .

I wish I had one of these-eons ago although I'm not sure fast smooth scrolling has been in widows and browsers all that long on the slower graphics stacks before Windows 10

When you set it to to freewheel like I do the mouse wheel has has flywheel effect when you flick the mouse wheel and it gets to the bottom of a webpage or file folder almost instantly and anywhere in between faster than a scalded dog you can scroll fast or slow (precision scroll ) or stop it as needed in an instant .It's light and not huge too !

I used to hate bottom to folder or page scrolling and NO precision scrolling or pointing on my OEM or similar disposable mouses

This thing is great for boosting productivity if you use a mouse a lot .

After a short while you don't even think about it you just flick the wheel how fast U need to and U know how hard to flick it then stop it to get what U want it's effortless & plug & play


You can go back to normal yesterdays news mouse wheel detents with the small button below the scroll wheel but I prefer to freewheel it , it was like $30.00.

Or you can resume the Win updtate /re start /install option ,mount the ISO for an upgrade or burn ISO to media if U need a coaster or USB or for clean install that way .

Using mouse (Logitech here too) or touchpad, still one click beats scrolling.

Mine's wireless and does the same things. I bought it and the keyboard as a package for $39.00. Just plug in the dongle and the mouse and keyboard are all set up without Windows having to fine 'em.

Still, not everyone has the good (and cheap) stuff, so it's good to let 'em know how far they need to scroll down.

Looks like we're using same kind of mouse . At least at this computer and according to the pictures. Ditched the box away years ago.
Or it may be predecessor?

That's the same thing I do. I use to make the ISO file as soon as I got the install.esd file. Now I just copy the install.esd to a folder on a different drive in case I need it.

Neither of the above on both occasions.
What I did was just copy the entire folder over from C:\ to D:\ before Windows finished installing the new build.
When Windows finished the installation the install.esd file on the C:\ partition had vanished.

No warning and with hindsight, there should have been enough with space available with 23 Gb free.

I'm not sure I follow what you did here. I'm not familiar with Nlite and the statement "make me an ISO file from the copied folder" just doesn't computer with me. When I create an ISO of a build, the only file I use is install.esd.

From the copy of the install folder I let Nlite convert the install.esd to install.wim then had it create an iso image which now contains install.wim instead of install.esd.
I had Nlite use the copied install folder on the D:\ partition for that. I realize that the install.wim on its own would have sufficed. I just didn't want to take any chance with a proggie I used for the first time, that's all there's to it and it did a good too.
