Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14295 for PC and Mobile Insider

Me too, Robot, me too!
So far, though, I haven't had any freeze-ups with Firefox and/or Outlook. Working at the computer all day and getting email when notified; then to TenForums. So far, so good.
Haven't had time to play Solitaire today, so not sure about freezes there.
Firefox seems to run well on Windows 10 like it does on most OS . I was using it as a default browser in 14279 because it wouldn't play nice with Chrome at all and I've always had F.F. as an alternative browser anyway it 's very good IMO and it wouldn't end my world at all if that was what I had to use daily . :)

I'm getting a lot of stuttering in games with this build that I haven't seen since the earlier builds with graphics stack issues. I'm going to roll back to 14279 and see if the stuttering is still there. If not, maybe I'll try upgrading again and see if it pops up again.

Not that I know a whole lot about graphics cards and such, but have you checked your drivers?

Sure have. Tried a few different driver versions, all with the same issue. Removed all overclocks and went bone stock and the issue was still occurring with all games across multiple drives, both SSD and HDD.

I think it was probably related to the fact that dwm.exe was crashing quite a bit in 10295. I'm back on 10279 and dwm seems stable again. Hopefully that bodes well for my gaming.

No dwm.exe crashing here .
OTOH 10295 is randomly momentarily hanging and I beaming the mouse cursor in the browsers and The W 10 mail client app but it doesn't crash aside from maybe closing the windows 10 runtime mail client and photo app randomly .
OTOH 10586 th2 on the real computer here is a pretty OK at gaming

I've been gaming as well as running VMs, video captures, and quite a few things on each build I toss on the main. The second desktop lacks the games and capturing hardware while FF 45 x64 is the default on everything lately regardless of build number physical and VM alike. I also keep several browsers on the main. FF as well as any other browser can freeze regardless of the version of Windows you are running as well as the build number.
On 10 switched to FF from Waterfox default for some time on 7! Went to WaterFox when IE 8-9-10 fuzzed up too much years back! Seems like a constant battle to keep only browser in use for that one only. Just remember to clean up the cache on any browser you use as the main! That will help a bit keeping it running good.

Yeah, 10279 treated me very well in terms of gaming. Think I'll stick with it for a while.

Huh, I'd never even heard of Waterfox. I'm gonna check it out. Thanks for bringing it up.

The spin :
"Waterfox is a high performance browser based on the Mozilla platform. Made specifically for 64-Bit systems, Waterfox has one thing in mind: speed. "
https://www.waterfoxproject.org/
It's Basically just a stripped down 64 bit F/F
TBH I doubt there are any longer any advantages using W/F x64 like there arent with Slim Browser or Maxthon anymore in the real world with page loading times or otherwise vs IE 11/Edge /FF or Chrome these days and they all come in 64 bit flavors now anyway and then maybe it isn't as secure either ?
I think that's all maybe old school thinking for older slower CPU and lower RAM configurations and browsers now .
I've tried all them all and more I used to be a browser whore I've rehabilitated from all that now
Speedwise .. Chrome is hard to beat and FF and IE 11 and Edge are all hairsplitting almost or invisible real close
