Mike posted no problems with three monitor setup...

So, it looks like only two monitor setup is affected with Snipping tool problems?
I should get the third one, but don't really have enough place, or need - since this is my home setup.:)
No, I didn't have problems on 2 either. Could it be something about scaling, both of mine were 125% .

Have you tried to "snip" something with the Snipping Tool, Mike? I don't have any crashes, but Snip doesn't work for me.

Using it all the time, no need for third party since W8.

Now that Windows is worth less than 10% of MS revenue, they probably just shut them up in a cage and throw them scraps every so often.
Setting pay discussion aside or specific nationalities in a PC correct world like we may have in US now and particularly on the left coast and E. coast we can maybe imagine the foreign national's arent treated as badly as homegrown interns or new hires in the past or maybe now and likewise for the full retail price paying foreign nationals at our colleges !

FWIW - AFAIK they have a fullpress selection of international meals and foods in the restaurants and dining facilities on the Redmond campus

I don't know if the greens up there allow typical fast food menus there but it's probably all there or used to be and the greens are getting some of thier thier stuff on the menus at the fast food joints now anyway .

TBH in my experience a lot of immigrants and foreign nationals like KFC,Cheese Burgers,American Fast food and Pizza and will choose all that in a minute .

I had a lot of immigrants and foreign nationals in my AOR's over the years and that's how it went down and not only that some of them had brown bag lunches or prepared food to microwave for lunch from home from the wives and they would usually toss them and get to to the commercial fast food joints or facilities in a building or on a campus or get together and a get a pizza

Are you sure you don't have crashes? Explorer restarts so quickly, that is even here on old machine hardly noticed. But check what is in reliability history: (you just have feeling that snip doesn't work)

Both screens are active, Cousin. My onboard video will only do DVI and RGB; however, the Samsung S24D300 is HDMI and RGB while the Acer is DVI and RGB. Which means the cable that came with the Samsung will work with DVI and I'm left with RGB for the Acer. As soon as I can, I'll get a DVI/HDMI video card so I can get better resolution, but this Samsung (main monitor) is quite nice.

I just checked and no new builds today; probably not until next week, but I have seen them drop on Friday before. When I start the computer in the AM, I always check TenForums Windows 10 News to see if anything's kickin'. Then I leave during the day to run an errand and when I get home, everyone but me has a new build. :)

I have crashes, but not when I try to use the Snipping Tool. Or maybe they're not exactly crashes; everything just freezes up and either Outlook or Firefox stop responding. I've given feedback on all my issues.

When I try to use the Snipping Tool, everything dims as it's supposed to, then goes bright like it's waiting for me to press New to start a snip. There just ain't no crash.

Nice, Count, but I don't have room on this desktop for more than two, and that's stretching it a bit.

I just finished building a couple of "elevators" for my monitors so they're up where I can see them without having to look down.

Here I simply picked up a pair of monitor stands from a local Walmart to solve the "sitting too low" problem when having first gotten around to adding on a second display. before that the older single BenQ lcd had a taller base stand you no longer see on all the newer models since. On the desk here the 20" HP reaches past the edge of the computer desk due the rise in the cabinet section taking away from the space on the desktop itself where previous I had the matching pair of 19" Asus models. I may end up putting the second Asus back on however since the HP suffers in the vibrance of the colors while the Asus model is a gaming lcd.

No, not really, because I essentially use the same software and hardware with each update. Microsoft Office 365 2016 ProPlus; Brother and HP printers; Logitech M510 mouse (that works fine once I changed it from "as fast as it'll go" to medium speed); Skype for Business and the consumer one that comes with Windows 10; OneDrive for Business and OneDrive consumer that comes with Windows 10. Really, when it comes right down to it, other than Firefox, printers (1 HP & 2 Brothers), mouse and keyboard, everything on the computer comes straight from Microsoft.

I haven't had problems with video or sound.
Presently have the on HP Envy 4500 printer setup while I could still see the Lexmark lazer as well. I don't run MS Office however but despite having several web browsers, VMware's Workstation 12 Player, desktop recording programs, video recording, playback wares, etc. the 14291 went right on over the last build wihout issues of any type other then the need to see the sound card's software redone which has to be expected anyways.

One old 2001 pc game is now acting up as far as seeing a few crashes especially on exit if not bogging down during playback. Yet that same 15yr. old 98-ME-XP pc game still seems to be running as you might expect some old title to. The other much newer Steam titles of course wouldn't run into any of that being a much closer match to the hardwares in use.

    <Snip>
That's good, but they're not available at our Walmart. I could buy them online, but I would have to wait for them to arrive. My stands cost me approximately $15.00 for both and they're custom built so the reading angle is just right. :) Also, I have space for installing drawers beneath each one, which I will do in the very near future.
