Two things I noticed in these Builds of late:

    - when you open a folder in the All Apps Menu and it's too close to the bottom that it cascades below the bottom, the cascaded portion does not automatically rise up to show all entries in that folder, the way it did in Windows 7.
    - in Build 14291, expanded folders in the All Apps Menu stay expanded, you have to close them manually, even after closing the Menu.
Here all I have to do is hover the cursor over the "back" with the arrow at the bottom there and the AllApps instantly switches back to the main Start menu. It won't matter if everything item is open after being set for the folder option and having them open either. You are seeing a slightly different but Start menu related problem there. One thought would be a look at the programs you have running since that was found to be a problem with a clean install while upgrade installs are more apt to run into problems with the Start button not being seen while still there as well as not being able to either open the menu itself or the AllApps if not getting a select item to work.

As for buggy mice problems I solved that one some time back after MS dropped a few trackballs models where you had to keep getting a fresh download for each newer version and now running a MSI DS200 7 button programmable model where the drivers and app work on 7 as well as on 10 going from one build to the next without worry about the need to reinstall anything! The older Creative sound card on the other hand will see the software portion pooched each time and need to web refreshed with the web updater tool.

Thanks for the heads up I unplugged the HDMI cable from the d/GPU to the TV and Windows Snip is behaving now .

I can get a lot of stuff I used to use a PC for in the Android TV apps on my 4K Sony in here even Youtube & plenty of stuff on the Roku extender now too and it has a 3tb USB 3.0 hdd connected to it with lots of downloads and other stuff I haven't watched yet and it has built in Chromecast I haven't used yet.

OTOH it only takes a second to plug it back in but if we don't get another build w/o that bug this week I'll Just put in a small electronic HDMI switch between the PC and TV I have from the 1080p Sony I had in here that didn't have enough HDMI inputs like this new one so far and I can use the cable or unplug it electronically till they fix it .

I picked up a 5 button Logitech M500 USB wired performance laser mouse that can freewheel smooth scroll it wasn't expensive at all for the performance it was maybe ~ $30.00 or so it's not a twitch game aficionado high end game mouse but it's fine for me and general use .

I don't game on this PC at all we got other stuff (PS3) and another S.B. i7 & d/GPU 4 core hypertheading PC for that here.that slays this AMD K10 Phen. II x4 and HD6450 at all that , this mouse is plug and play or maybe you can program it in a game .

It's wicked for fast flywheel smooth scrolling or you can set it to click wheel like any other mouse with the small button just under the mouse wheel,

It's got a nice form ,feel and precision to it well above my HP OEM mice here or any mouse I've owned or used on the job and you can page forward and back in a browser with the left side thumb buttons just above the thumb recess.

It doesn't have the red light or any visible light on the bottom IIRC it's laser or something but it's way cool with good precision and its nice and light and not to big like some of them.

I hate track balls or trackball mice anyway like some of the game mice have aside from the Track button on my HP Elitebook and the IBM & later Lenovo Thinkpads I had out of the office and facilities desktops at work over the years. I have a logitech touchpad I never use in here but we use it in the studio now and then .
