For laptops with 1 disk bay, a bigger SSD is in order. But my desktops I have run for years on 60GB SSDs and never ran out of space. With tosay's prices I would buy 120GB for $69 but when I bought my first 60GB OCZ, I paid $265.
SSDs are the definitely the way to go. I have 2 SSDs. One is 240 GB that I'm planning on installing in my laptop when I upgrade it to Windows 10. The other one is 250 GB that is in my desktop with Windows 8.1.1 installed. Windows 10 is installed in a 250GB partition on my HDD. When 10 goes final I going to upgrade over my 8.11 install and delete the 250 GB partition on the HDD. If the prices are right I might buy a 500 GB SSD for my desktop and put the 250 GB SSD into my wife's laptop.
Yep 200us for a 500gb isn't bad possibly next black Friday will be the time to pull the trigger on that one
Now I have 2-mx128 and 2-mx256 that's enough for a while all in the last 4 months :)
Here is a 500GB Crucial for $180.
