I quoted you and myself with the first paragraph or two, but left it at that. Go read and fill in where you need to. :)

Do you by any chance have some network links under Quick Access? pinned or just frequently used links.
I have some interrupts with Windows explorer and removing those links solved my issue.

Just checked again and indeed its Numlock. Possisibly because I am using a PIN?

That would be almost too clever of MS.
Check your BIOS, some have a feature to turn it off at boot time.

So far, I can't get NumLock to be on at bootup. It drove me crazy until I got used to hitting NumLock before typing in my Pin.

Same here. Hitting NumLock is also good to get from Lock to Log-in screen.

I just finished the upgrade to b14279.
    I deleted b14271 and reused b14267.

    The usual mouse glitch occurred.
The usual fix worked (perform another reboot after the upgrade claimed it was complete).

At least this time (unlike b14267) my customised theme and Rainmeter survived.

I haven't checked out if the other issues I had with b14267 are present.

I just upgraded to b1429. Now my Office 2013 says it is not activated and when I try activating it I get the following message :
We're sorry something went wrong and we can't do this for you right now. Please try again later (0x004F017)

I have tried several times to activate but keep getting the exact same message. Does anyone have any ideas on how to sort this out?
