    BSOD after update?

    Hi guys,
I'm facing a problem that I've traced to this update (looks like)
Computer gets stuck at 30% of updating, then restarts automatically, leading to BSOD and gets stuck in reboot loop.
When advanced startup options appear, I was able to restore machine with System Restore auto-created point from few days ago. This has happened twice now both times I had to restore the system to get it working again.
Since this my antivirus is also not working (Kaspersky Internet Security 2015)

What can I do? Not shutting /restarting the system due to this- as Update is ready to install again and I don't want it to go to the BSOD again.

    TIA! :)

Thanks! This is the one I have been waiting for. The association bug was a real pain.

u need to mention what BSOD code u got, so people can guess what might cause reboot loop
without it, then there is something in your PC (usually driver related) conflicting with update and cause BSOD

I think you can download a tool from MS that allows blocking of the update (maybe someone more knowledgeable can confirm this) - then you could wait it out for the next update and see if that works. Although trying to find the root of the cause is more preferable.

I know this. Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations after applying this update. That issue of "unable to repair some corrupt..." has been on this machine since I don't know when. Glad to see it gone.

Now if MS would just update the 2006 driver store all would be good to go.

Yes I downloaded it yesterday and everything went fine.
Curious question. Why do we do these manual updates when yesterday I noticed that my wife's machine was updating the same thing automatically.
    Just curios.

I'm pretty much dumb as a rock when it comes to this stuff soooo..
I'm running 10 ver 10240 on a Dell 580 x86 32 bit upgraded from 7 Ultimate in 7-2015. When I try to upgrade to 10586.122 I get the error 'not for this machine" or something to that effect. However, my Dell D630 floptop upgraded from 7 PRO to 10204 downloaded and installed both 3140743(1st) and 3139907(2nd) yesterday automatically.

Last evening I downloaded "Win10_1511_English_x32.iso" and just used it to burn a DVD. My question, can I simply install 10586.122 from the DVD or do I need to do something else? I made and stored an image of the running 580 10240 and think'n I should clone my backup disc just in case.

    HELP!!!!

    Bill
