    They do make it very easy to see so you can decide if you want to install the extra software or not. I hate it when they try to sneak the extra software in.

    I noticed no one mentioned that KC always wants a reboot whenever its run. Everybody O.K. with this?

    I think I found the answer to my problem - one which Windows Defender quarantined KC.

    Cleaners ought to be clean (and clear) | Microsoft Malware Protection Center

    That's another way they trick people into installing unwanted programs. The default shouldn't be "Accept" They know a lot of times people will just keep clicking without reading what's on the page. I am guilty of being in a hurry and doing it a few times myself.
