Next month, the annual Game Developers Conference returns to the Moscone Center in San Francisco – and as the games division for Microsoft, Xbox will be there in full force. With 16 sponsored sessions, a robust booth presence and two lounges, Xbox will showcase the latest and greatest games and announcements on game development for Windows 10 devices and Xbox One.

During last month’s Windows 10 briefing, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer shared Microsoft’s vision for gaming across devices, with the announcement that the Xbox app for Windows 10 will include some of Xbox Live’s most popular features and some of the most beloved Xbox experiences.

At GDC 2015, Xbox will share new tools and roadmaps with developers for creating games on Windows 10 devices. On March 4th at 11:00 PT, Spencer will host a presentation about developing games across the Microsoft ecosystem – from Windows 10 PCs, to Xbox One consoles. As the session will be open to GDC attendees only and seating is limited, it will be made available later that day on Xbox Live, YouTube, Channel 9, and here on Xbox Wire.

That’s not all Xbox has going on at GDC 2015 – our talented developers and thought leaders will cover a wide range of topics across 16 sessions over the course of the conference, including developing games for Windows 10 and Xbox One, a closer look at DirectX 12, a deep dive on creating cross-device multiplayer experiences with Xbox Live, and more. Check out the GDC 2015 schedule for a full list of can’t-miss Xbox game developer sessions.

On the gaming front, be on the lookout for new, innovative ID@Xbox games in and around the conference. Stay tuned to Xbox Wire as we’ll have more to share soon, including interviews with developers and hands-on previews.

And finally, GDC attendees can stop by the Xbox booth when they hit the expo floor. We will showcase new tools for game developers and some new features coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2015.

We hope to see you at GDC next month. Stay tuned for more from Xbox on great new titles for Xbox One and Windows 10 at this year’s E3 and gamescom!

I'm looking forward to it. It'll be interesting to learn more information about DirectX12 and see what other cross-platform games they unveil.
