Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14267 Insider

Really weird that some comps just don't want to update. Both, here, always get the update immediately it is available even though I am 'way down under'. Maybe the electrons run faster downhill!!

Nothing here yet as always from Nor Cal...

Rebooted into no build. No problems. 12 progams in Startup - boot time 35 sec. Their is a transident error message on login but it goes by too fast for me to see and it does not need to be dismissed. This was happening in the previous build. I may be able to track down in the event viewer when I have time. It is not the reported dll problem because I successfully appllied the temprorary fix successfully (delted the file) and it still flashed. I'll look into my VMware Windows 10 VM - its not activated but I still receive preview build anyway. Basically waiting for substantial changes in Redstone builds. I don't use Edge much at all so I don't care about that. Firefox and Chrome are just fine. While Universal Apps and the store work I really only use the Weather App and iHeart radio although Facebook, Twitter and Dropbox work as best they can

IIRC my transient error messages in the last few builds have been something about Chrome that otherwise works fine....... MS is probably harassing some of us that use Chrome for a default browser .

About 35 minutes for me. Restore off, created new one. Did the store app, checkup for updates, 2 in the que, they completed in about 5 seconds. (Xbox and Mail and Calendar) did a check again, they reappeared, this time they did the full install. Came back to the store, the 2 were there again, installed the full app. Now subsequent checks, they seemed to be satisfied. All else seems ok.

All went well with two comps here except for the perennial annoyance of the restore being set to off.

Only half of this PC is on the fast ring insider builds , the other 3 are running normally activated Windows 10 10586

I also see that transient error msg on both comps. Can't see what it says, though. Looked at event logs but couldn't see anything there.

I'll have to look again it shows up readable on this 27" 1440P screen and I have a 4K 55" Sony TV next to it in here on a full motion wall mount that would show it also if I switched main screens and put it on the PC /HDMI input . :)
