I think eventually MS is going to rely on the update process and it might be a good idea to try the update with the next build and then if you see problems use the ISO for a clean install. That's what I did and I never needed the ISO since the update went just fine for me, YMMV..
Just got 3 new KB3021952, KB3038930, and KB3040021 Windows Updates for Windows 10 today.
I have an oddity... support.microsoft.com/kb/3038930 shows installed ok in reliability monitor - yet when I look in the programs and features installed/uninstall list, its not there.

Mikie, if you look at the link you have in your post to KB3038930 you will see that is really an update to another update, KB3038357.
MS moves in mysterious ways......
p.s. - I suspect it was just the hotfix to change "awesome" to "impressive". It does show, though, if you look at update history thru settings.
