I have a 8.0 key and that worked with the 8.1 ISO form the MCT.

I'm a little confused Aha! I checked your specs ... Apple! That's an interesting twist. I wonder how MS will accommodate your configuration...

I'm fairly certain though that you won't be able to update Win(anything) with the install not activated.
Pricing is still up in the air - maybe MS will offer Win10 extremely cheap the first 30 days and then relatively cheap the next 30 days to boost numbers.

Does this fall into the OEM category
- Apple is responsible for the Win10 upgrade - how about that for irony!
