    Your machine, your choice.

I just hope people who are not as knowledgeable as you will not get the wrong idea.
    That's all.
    Good point!

Another interesting point I found today.

The Manual update link provided in the OP, only works via IE.
I am fast getting very used to using MS Edge, and it seems very strange that MS has not ensured ALL internal MS download processes will work with Edge?
Lack of internal commitment to Edge perhaps?

    Use the direct download link

The 64 bit one works with Edge ok as I have done it

Actually I think you would be able to get it from WU might be wrong, but there is a third ring now called "Release Preview"

Release Preview -- Best for Insiders who enjoy getting early access to updates for the Current Branch, Microsoft applications, and drivers, with minimal risk to their devices, and still want to provide feedback to make Windows devices great.

Yes correct, but it not about not being able to get it, it is about some download processes within MS not supporting Edge, showing a lack of follow through to ensure Edge works with all internal MS processes.

As I pointed out in other thread, we (users) are being taken as constant beta testers. No matter irf you're not under the Insider program. Is obvious that almos every release (apps, Oss and whatnot), are being released without being 100% finished. That's why they keep throwing patches, pre-update-releases and confusing everone out.

    Hope this makes sense

Is there anyway to install these updates as a full update instead of cumulative, so that every change in the KB is installed and not just the newer updates

I agree with you on that one :)
