Redmond running Redstone mobile build internally

Microsoft rolled out Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.107 a few hours ago, but the company is already testing a much newer version of the operating system thatís part of the Redstone branch.

Gabriel Aul, head of the Windows Insider program, has confirmed in a tweet that heís already running Windows 10 Mobile build 14260 internally, but obviously, he has refused to provide any information on when exactly members of the insider program could also make the switch to the Redstone branch.

Microsoft has also rolled out Windows 10 for PCs build 14257, part of the Redstone branch too, so the company might be trying to synchronize releases and bring them in line with each other sometime in the near future.

But for the moment, Windows 10 for PC insiders are the only ones who get to test Redstone builds, as mobile users are still on the original branch while the operating system is not yet available for Windows Phone devices.
