Yeah, gone really quiet. You'd have thought some info for us testers would have been appropriate. Momentum slipping as you say.
I would have no problem with "we thought we could get it out by the end of Feb, but it's not quite ready - it'll be along in the next couple of days", or whatever, but after saying it would be out in Feb, they need to say something.

Thanks for sharing the information. Right now I can live with later March for the next build to come down.

Is there any fresh scuttlebutt on when the next build will drop? For all his back-pedaling, Aul clearly said it was coming by the end of February. Got a lot of people all ready and worked up, and then, fizzle. IMO, they're losing real cred by not getting it out there - they had some good momentum going, but it's sort of fading now...
That's certainly what most of us here thought he said, but then he said he didn't say it . . .

I guess what bothers me most is that instead of saying they thought they could get it out, but it didn't happen, he denies everything.

That doesn't make me want to quit the Preview, though. I'm just a bit disappointed in Microsoft for now, but I'll get over it.

It's not a big deal in my mind. While it would have been nice to have had a build in Feb it will be far better to delay it so Spartan can be included. Just having bug fixes and other under the hood things would have been rather dull to test out, IMO.

    The Beotch Boys

    "Windows"

    Windows, Windows what went wrong
    oh so wrong,
We've had this Build for so damn long

I never thought a guy could cry
Still sittin starin at the sky
Oh Windows, Windows left me alone!

Windows, I wouldn't have hurt you like that
    No no no
I thought we had a new Build down pat
    Guess I was wrong

The farthest thing from my mind
was the day that I'd wake up to find
    my Windows
    still at version 99...

Instead of denying that he said it would be released the last week of February he should of told us why it wasn't released. I'd rather be told the truth than lied to.

No kidding! Just issue a friggin press release already: "Should be next Tuesday, if it's delayed, we'll let you know. Sorry for the wait"
All this secrecy and mind games is just stupid.
