Microsoft Confirms New Windows 10 Build Coming This Month

All right, for some reason I can open explore, center it and it remains centered for me at least.
Jeff
Open and close it repeatedly and it won't open in the same spot each time.
(btw - if you click on my .gif in post #65, does it play in your browser?)
Gif works for me using IE11. Bouncing all over the place huh.

The Gif works in Pale Moon

Well I sure hope they fix the windows staying centered on the desktop:)
Still not sure if it's a glitch or not but this may be a partial explanation:
If you 'wheel click' File Explorer to open multiple instances of it, they open cascaded instead of on top of each other, (then again, did it always work like that? I'm not sure now!)

I can't find it now, but somewhere I've run across a way to cascade files and folders or open in a separate window. I'll keep looking, but meanwhile, here's the only hint I have.

hopefully today is the day of new build

I seriously doubt that any "fix" will occur for that issue, if there really is one in the first place.

WHOA! Look what happens when you click on 'Show windows stacked'!
That ain't the 'stacked' I remember!
(What's that, Super Snapping?!)

I just click the box for a full screen so I don't know if it's centered or not. :) And if it's smaller than my monitor, I just go to personalize and fit it.

OK, that's what I was looking for! Where did you find it?
To me, stacked is one on top of the next one. That's more like side by side or tiled.

Never mind, I found it.

Are you thinking of - right click taskbar - show windows stacked, or, show windows side by side? Of course, they can only stack to the height of your screen, and then start the next stack (side by side) hence the picture.
