For me a more frequent build would be nice. In that event I would dual boot(win8.1.1 and Win10TP) from then on.

    Yesssssssssss!

I created a dual boot system on the 15" laptop last night and it went well. Of course this is a Legacy system, so the next try will be with this 17" laptop and UEFI.

I did it with Rufus and that thing is the greatest thing since sliced bread!

Maybe they're getting our systems all spiffed up for a new build drop? Almost typed "droop", which would have been almost appropriate, since we're all wilting on the vine . . .

I've been dual booting since day one. I'm going to keep it that way until 10 goes final. When it does I'll upgrade my Windows 8.1.1 on my SSD and format the Win 10 TP partition on my HDD.

What is a Legacy System? . . .I ask only because with this new and empty brain that needs to be refilled with information I sometimes forget things. . .so fuel to refill the emptiness would be of great help. . .

Well, for starters take a look at this: Legacy system - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Really, it's any system that works just fine like it is, unless you try to do something way out of it's league. Like running an e-mail server on a TRS80. I hope your not just pulling my leg!

In my case I'm calling it a Legacy system because it has the "old" BIOS rather than the new UEFI (which took the place of BIOS). I really should have said Legacy BIOS instead of system.
