I was wondering about that actually.

Obviously anyone can find them (if they want and they have been doing It for years) but am allowed to say "Google WZOR" or "here is a link to a Russian site" or what?

Members with TF badges mention (boast) about it.

    What is the real deal?
They should know better not to mention those sources.

I guess some don't take the TF badge serious?

Thank you for your response, Wynona. No, everything is correct and fast ring is selected. Just a real puzzle. I know I am not alone in this situation, as NightHawk has indicated he, and many others, have this issue as well.
Add one more person, two computers with Insider set to Fast, neither has received 257. One sets on 251 but has not been triggered for 257. The other has .71 version of released Windows 10 ( added Fast Insider to this computer a week ago ).

I have been an Insider for the entire program. Before Windows 10 was released I used to see preview versions within minutes of a new version. After Insider, it has usually taken a least a full day. I actually think that the daily automatic maintenance session has triggered most updates since 10 was released. On a rare occasion forcing a manual update has been successful.

It's best to let those who want to go to those sites figure it out for themselves. The only official site for downloading Windows 10 Insider builds is microsoft.com.

No, sorry but I believe you can not download insider builds from Microsoft.com.

If you have a download link from there (that doesn't expire after 24 hours) then please post it.

You can get the media creation tool here. Instructions on what to do and how to do it are there too.

Very easy mistake to make. Your are right though,We shouldn't suggest to look for sites if they lead to unofficial downloads.

If MS doesn't have the download on their site I think it's safe to say that they don't want you downloading it. As for the update not showing up for some users, I'd like to know why myself. I'm not even sure that MS knows why.

Nah, I don't know. Sometimes it turns up immediately. Sometimes I have to wait 3 days and it turns up. Sometimes I wait 1 hour and download it from the Russians because I'm impatient.

Perhaps there is a logic but I don't know - I just feel left out if there is 3 hours of people here testing a build and I don't have it (even if it doesn't do much).

It is my hobby at the moment, I like to have it asap.
