I just got a back in stock notification e-mail from Adafruit. Looks like they have 81 in stock now. Element 14 must have cooked up a new batch. My 2 B has made it as far as Montreal. It's likely father east than that but that was the last tracking point it crossed. Expected delivery date is listed as the 25th. I think I'll get it sooner than that though. The 23rd would be a good day for it to arrive.

It's possible that it's waiting for my Pi coming from HK before they move again.

They are on the move, they just won't get barcode scanned again until they switch trucks or get resorted.

I already have a B+ that I use for a media center, it's hooked up to my TV in my bedroom. At some point I want to set up one of mine up as this, https://learn.adafruit.com/freq-show...tl-sdr-scanner. I already have that SDR dongle and a 5 inch touch screen. I also have a temperature, barometric pressure, altitude sensor board that I hope to be the start of a home weather station. Pi's are easily repurposed to do a variety of things. I'm not sure my budget will allow me to get into the robotics side of things.

not 100% sure what i'm going to use mine for ,maybe a media box,[but I already have a android tv box] .just tinkering at first ,but will likely get a small touch screen and make a small wooden case computer or something like that .when I get some extra money ,it will all be just for fun stuff for sure nothing serious

That's the thing, the price is right for something to just play around with and try new things. caperjack have a look at this, https://www.adafruit.com/products/1275 a bit pricy but it would be a cool looking to mount a display and Pi too, and maybe one of these, https://www.adafruit.com/products/443
