You guys have some cheap services. I pay $138/month for 4M up/down no data cap internet. Pay $161/month for DISH satellite with 2 DVRs and 4 HD TVs (Premium channels included). Don't have a landline phone but pay $230/month for our family cell phone package.
we have 2 cell phones with no data on either one ,1 is pay as you go talk with unlimited text ,one with 100min a month + unlimited text .about 60$cdn /month total for both
I have 1400 minutes (shared between 4 phones) talk, unlimited texts and unlimited data.
We have pretty much unlimited talk too because we would never come near that 1400 minute ceiling. If we call each other (or another Verizon customer) those minutes don't count (Mobile to Mobile they call it). For those numbers we call that aren't Verizon customers, we can have up to 10 numbers listed (Friends & Family) and those minutes aren't counted. In addition, if we call during off peak those minutes aren't counted either. What it boils down to is that very few of the minutes we use during a month are actually subtracted from that 1400 minute number.
Had to get unlimited texts because one of my daughters regularly hit 8,000 texts per month. Unlimited data is nice for when I travel as I can watch Netflix video or listen to Pandora radio and not worry about a data cap.
Need lots of talk minutes because I work from home and use my phone to call into meetings and take classes and such. I probably average at least 120 minutes a week from that alone.
My wireless service is giving me 13mb up and down with no data cap for US $60.
I use a $20 a month internet phone service which gives me 2 local phone numbers and 4000 local minutes and 1000 minutes toll call pretty much any where in the world. I am saving about $50 a month by ditching the land line.
I cancelled my cable TV because I only watched one or two shows and I also cancelled my land line. I saved over $100 a month, started buying movies. I have around 400 now. I like to watch them more than once so want to own them instead of streaming. Later I got a land line back and lucked out with a promotion of $9 a month for two years with the cable company's best. I have a T Mobile To Go which cost me an average of $8. a month. I renew once a year for $100 with roll over on my minutes.
