Oh wow.. now that stinks.. but for some reason I'm not totally surprised. MS wants to shift users over to apps from the store for games from now on.
Solitaire and Mine sweeper have caused more work hours wasted than cancer and common cold !

I wonder why your computer is so slow. It took my computer less than 15 minutes total for a complete install including the disc clean up and setting up system restore and a few other tweaks. I think that mine takes extra long because it is in a multi boot set up and I have to sit here and go thru a menu for each restart, but 1 hour would be unbearable.
Probably a lot of installed SW, it takes time to sort all of that out, everything has to be checked for compatibility and returned to it's place.[/QUOTE]

Sorry, to be clear, I only meant the built in Windows 7 games - Spider Solitaire, Minesweeper and so on - not other 3rd party ones.

You could install them up to 10586 but not any more.
    Hi there

    they still work

Look on W8 forums - a while ago but I left a dropbox link - file is mgms-x32x64_1.2

I haven't tried the X-86 (32 bit) version for a while but the X-64 version works perfectly both on Insider build and latest current retail build -- running W10 Pro x-64 on both machines. You need to re-install them again even if you did a W10 upgrade rather than a clean install.

These are the old built in W7 games. Here's a screenshot of Spider Solitaire --I love playing this during Hideous boring office meetings where a lot of "Accidenture" type consultants are rabitting on about some theory using all the latest American "Management Speak" - stops me falling asleep. Do those people actually get Paid -- I can do the same sort of B/S as those guys can but I wouldn't get paid !!!!! and I actually don't have a Suit and tie any more (not that I used one often years ago either).

    Hello
    Question:
This build is stable? no bugs? compared to RTM latest build 10586 with last patch?
    worth the install?
    cheers:)
Install it and find out. :) We're Insiders and that's what we're supposed to do.

yes I know stability security etc.
I'm a insider but i didn't install any isider build after rtm 10586 cause i thing is stuble enough
now I like to continue with isider builds but afraid they gonna mess up my system with bugs.
people say is stable and works smooth.confirmed?
Here ya go, straight from the Horse's mouth:

    Known issues:

    • You might see a WSClient.dll error dialog after logging in. We’re working on a fix for this but as a workaround, you can run the following in Command Prompt with administrative rights: schtasks /delete /TN “\Microsoft\Windows\WS\WSRefreshBannedAppsListTask” /F
    • The Connect button does not show up in Action Center. The workaround is to press Windows key + P and then click “Connect to a wireless display”.
    • Due to a recent memory management change, you may see periodic app crashes or other memory related app errors. The workaround is to reboot your PC.
    • F12 Developer Tools will not load in Microsoft Edge. Should be fixed in the next build.

As always – thank you for being Windows Insiders and make sure to send us feedback on any issues you run into with this build in the Windows Feedback app.

Took 3 tries to get rid of windows.old. Just wouldn't go away. Took ownership and deleted last few files manually.

Odd that the cleanup tool didn't remove it all--always works for me--after you run Disk Cleanup, Windows.old will not be removed until you also hit the "Cleanup System files" button and select it... Then it will remove all without the necessity of having to change file ownership. It's much faster than trying to do it manually.
