I'm surprised to read this. Windows 10 is working great on my Lumia 640XL.
Redmond also delayed the monthly update for new Lumia models

And now a new report claims that the software giant itself has contacted partners to inform them about the delay, revealing a little bit more about the reasons behind this decision.
VentureBeat claims that, in an email that Microsoft sent to partners this week, the company explains that the reason for holding back the release of Windows 10 Mobile for another month is the fact that the operating system isn’t yet ready. Sure, Microsoft doesn’t say it loud and clear, but the typical marketing language that the email uses certainly hides this message, the source says.
As a result, Microsoft now thinks that Windows 10 Mobile could be ready in early to mid-February, which means that we need to wait between 2 and 4 weeks to get the new smartphone OS.

They're doing a great job, but with this many different handsets available it must be pretty difficult.
I wonder if they will give us updated firmware.
