    Now this is transparency I can get behind, not some insignificant window dressing that isn't even 10% of the total UI!

    IMO, it was horrible.
    I don't like transparency anyway (I have it turned off in W7).

    The Standard Solution applies here, let users turn it on or off.

Is there any way to change the transparency/colour intensity of the start menu? Classic Start Menu allowed me to change the transparency of the task bar and I'm left with this Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet So far i couldn't find any...
Is there other transparency, more like what Aero used to have in Win7 ? I know it will be in the final release though, but maybe it's already and I'm not looking in the right place. 15483
