I have been tinkering and OCing systems like forever and main conclusion is that benchmarks are no good for comparing apples and oranges !
With browsers, "speed" is of much less importance than sheer usefulness and stability which are more of personal thing coupled by HW capabilities.
Security is another thing of importance and may trump other considerations depending on user.
That said, my proffered browser is still FF because blend of all those things is just right for me. Edge does have a potential but I may be too much of an old-timer for it's interface, I still prefer a proper menu bar which is still provided by FF, it's derivatives and IE. Edge may be fast now but still remains to be seen when add-ons are enabled. Too many wrong add-ons can kill any browser's speed and introduce unwanted consequences.

I cannot believe how many people like Chrome... never really liked any of googles products.... stuck with an android phone for now since the iPhone 6s plus is way too much money on boost mobile(don't want to be stuck in a contract) half the time googles android acts worse than windows vista ever did. so far I love Edge on windows 10 pro

I kind of agree. It's a nice browser but not a great browser IMO. But then I've been a fan of FF for years so that might account for that.

Hi Cliff. How did you get your WIN 10 to look like this with black background and orange tinge?
In Edge click on three dots at top right hand....then Settings.
Choose a theme "Dark" and also Reading "Dark".

I use IE11 majority of the time. Depending on the web site, I have to switch to Chrome. I tried Edge but wasn't happy with it. I'm sure as it is enhanced that could change.

Perhaps because I have used it for so many years, I prefer the Firefox interface and use it as my main browser (Firefox 64 bit).

Not a fan of Chrome or Firefox.
Have used IE for years and never had a problem with websites, some wont show right in Chrome.
IE11 just works and does everything I need in a web browser.
As for speed in my tests on my own PC/laptops there hasn't really been any difference worth using one over another.

Since upgrading to win 10, I have been using Edge.
I like it for the most part, but IE 11 still wins for me as the Ad blockers work 100% on that, but its hit n miss on Edge so far

I use Pale Moon/Firefox. I started using Firefox after Netscape stopped being released. I don't use it because I think it's the best. I use it because I'm more familiar with it. I will use IE if a web page wont load correctly. I use Edge for testing. I don't believe in benchmarks for browsers. There are to many factor that can determine the speed of a browser. Best, like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :)

I recently switched from chrome to firefox because firefox loads a lot faster and doesnt hog up too many resources like chrome does. Firefox is also more customizable than chrome.

I toyed with edge and I like it. But the problem with it is that it doesnt accept any extensions and you cant use CSS code on it.

IE11 used to be my browser of choice but due to continuous crashes (even after all updates and resetting numerous times) I have moved to Chrome and have not had a single crash. Will stay with Chrome until Edge has been fully formed to my liking.
