i use FF mostly because the add-ons
not like chrome dont have it, but i more used to firefox, and i feel FF have more complete function, like i can track source image url easily with firefox media info and such

well i can do same in chrome with some add-ons though

for speed (startup/quit) chrome is better than FF imo... especially when u have lots of tabs it
the sync also more smooth than FF

but FF win in efficiency though, 2000tabs+ eat like 2gb of RAM where chrome can eat more than 3gb

edge isnt that bad, but i never tried using it with bunch of tabs
i mostly use for watching netflix (sub browser)

for casual surfer... i believe any browser will just fine

Are you crazy?? Chrome is slower than FF in starting up. When I 1st launch FF it takes like 5 - 7 secs. But Chrome takes like 14 secs. I dont think you got FF.

FF lunches in less than a second from an SSD. So do IE and Edge and bunch of other ones.

I suspect that all browser will launch quickly when on an SSD. Modern browsers are all good and it's really hard to find a bad one now a days.

They'll all start a bit faster with a blank page, it's syncing start page that takes most time.

Even without anything synced, a page like this:

is going to load a heck of a lot faster than this:

FF on desktop, Chrome on lappy (only cause the wife is used to it and it gets her to her Coupon Sites! ) I like FF on my desktop; it just looks better in this forum! Highly technical explanations, I know, but if it works for you....it works!

i didnt matter fresh start (without previous session) much... because i use lots tabs ...

in my system, FF with like 10add-ons & 1000+tabs load like 2-3minutes...
it can be much longer if u use AdBlockPlus... i use ublock origin because of it
    chrome 7add-ons & 1000+tabs 1minutes

the things is, in chromes, extra tabs doesnt incrase load time much
while firefox extra tabs increase quite load time

i know this probably caused with add-ons i use, i am suspecting between session manager - noscript - ublock origin
because those add-ons working ever since ff starting up
but again in chrome i use similar add-ons...
    u can test it urself

I think you got a bad install of FF. So far I havent heard of anyone complainng that FF is slow in launching even with multipe tabs open. Youre the only one that I heard of with this issue. You should reinstall FF because something isnt right with your system.
