YouTube videos work perfectly in Edge when minimised to taskbar...often listen when using another browser.
Am listening right now to a Tangerine Dream concert recording while typing this in IE.
    Same here and always did.

Chrome for most things. Edge for streaming video. Baidu for download manager.

Chrome is my choice since it came out. In December it will be better with alot less memory issues.

    Hi there

Horses for courses -- like BMW vs Audi etc etc.

IE does have a debug feature so you can see what's happening when say you do a Google search and click on a Link. I'm still old fashioned enough to like Menu's and dropdowns too. My Computer isn't a "Large Mobile phone" or slab.

I don't like Edge - and it doesn't support SKY GO.

I'm tending to use Firefox more and more these days when not using SKY GO (Football etc).
I rarely logon to Windows for browsing - unless I'm also using SKY GO. Firefox on Linux with latest updates applied is vastly superior now than a few releases ago.

I'm using version shown below (Linux) --seems more than adequate.

I haven't though tried any Firefox version on Windows.

Speed is an unreliable measure anyway - a lot depends on Network performance, activity on the HOST (remote) Web site and how well the remote web site code is written.

Browser performance measurements these days are about as useful as a Chocolate Teapot.

    Cheers

Felt whimsy and decided to check this oldie out...

What's the best Windows 10 web browser? The benchmarks are in-netscape.png

Surprise, surprise ... its doesn't auto detect proxy - had to do manual setting, it's slow as molasses and the reply textbox is disabled on this forum etc ...

    Good memories tho'... LOL

I tried out Vivaldi and so far I really like it. It's a nice alternative browser.

I assume you would not be allowed to listen to Tangerine Dream on an Apple?
