Microsoft Could Release Windows 10 Redstone Build 11097 Next Week

The version is currently tested internally at Microsoft

The development of Windows 10 Redstone continues at Microsoft, and the company is now expected to ship a new preview build to members of the Insider program as soon as the next week.

The leader of the Windows Insider effort, Gabriel Aul, has confirmed in a short tweet that the company is internally testing Windows 10 Redstone build 11097, but he has refused to provide any specifics regarding the possible release date.

He has, however, mentioned that there are no big changes implemented in this build, but only small refinements, bug fixes, and performance improvements, so should 11097 be released to testers, no exciting updates are to be expected.

Microsoft rolled out the most recent Windows 10 Mobile build on Friday, so now the company is expected to do the same next week for PC users. But depending on how development on this particular build advances, the company can decide whether it can push it to testers or wait a little bit longer until a more reliable and stable build is compiled.
