just looking at the items in the taskbar make it look like its not designed for touch

The important point for me though is that it can hopefully be made to look the same on all devices, so if I pick up my 8" tablet, or my Laptop, or a desktop if I get one in the future, the interface is the same on all of them

No problem, can you remember where this video came from initially, seen it on numerous places but cant remember if its officially from MS

Desktop/laptop it would be ok as it is, but a smaller size Win tablet, IMO, would not work very well with that layout
