After I restarted to install it this morning, before going to work, I got my first ever BSOD from a Windows update
I just did a hard shut down, turned the PC back on and it booted to my desktop with the update installed, all Hunky Dory.
and the system checks out good. Just a hiccup I suppose.
I had the same thing happen yesterday. Blue Screen saying "Uh Oh! Problem. Sending info to Microsoft, please be patient". The sending progress stayed at 0% for 20 minutes. Finally my patience ended and I held down the PC power button until the machine shut-down. Waited 30 seconds, pressed the power button again. PC started and after 5 minutes or so, settled-in enough to use smoothly with no spiking of the CPU.

When I view update history, it says that No Updates Have Been Installed. Oh well...whether KB3124200 installed or not, it doesn't matter. According to what I'm reading in this thread, it didn't do anything anyway! LOL.

    Are you guys serious?

Whatever Microsoft throws at your computer, regardless of what it does, you happily download and install and believe it miraculously improves performance somehow?

Give me a break. Without patch notes, NOTHING has changed as far as anybody should be concerned. If anything, this update could've just updated the Fax driver. Or updated the time zone list. Or updated keyboard dictionaries. Or nothing at all.
I love the thought of MS releasing updates that do absolutely nothing more than changing the build number and people going crazy about it like: "Ah, my system has become faster, it's more stable now..."

Went smooth as butter for me AND my Bluetooth button in Action Center is NOW UNLIT as it should be (Bluetooth is off and kept off at most times). A prior update resolved my airplane mode button lit inappropriately BUT, at same time, resulted in Bluetooth button being lit inappropriately. NOW both buttons behave as they should... at least for the present!
Don't count on it, could be coincidence. My Bluetooth button is still lit and my PC does not even have a Bluetooth interface. :)

Yeah, understood, hence the spock eyebrows smiley and the "at least for the present".

I got excited when an update cleared the airplane mode button lit problem but then realized it was replaced by the bluetooth button lit problem. They'll probably "fix" something else that breaks this again for me.

What about some positive thinking: MS has managed to add Bluetooth to my PC by software update. Who else could do this

My bluetooth being on even when it's not is just like how my wife is right even when she's wrong.

here is a interesting question why is blue tooth called blue tooth? Is it blue? The same reason why blu ray is blu ray? I believe the latest cumulative update has a purpose but I guess we haven't really found out what it does. I wonder if we will ever know.????

Yup it is still not working as it should, still got a few bugs. It even installed itself on my 2nd computer that has no Bluetooth even installed on it. I was able to remove it from my 2nd computer at least for now. This computer its also removed too, but sometimes I have to reboot to remove it, as it still comes back if I shut my computer down completely for the night. Soon as I turn it back on, the Bluetooth icon is back, then only way to remove it, is to reboot computer after turning it on for the day.
But, i'm used to it now.... :)
