Like to know where they got their figures from.
I certainly have not done a survey on it.
    I use Edge Browser 100%
I do not have any other browsers installed on any of the systems I have upgraded
Along with Cortana, also Bing that is all that is on every system in my house and daughters house and businesses.
I use Cortana with Microphone gets us every webpage we want.
Also have Edge on my phone.
So they need to send a survey out then perhaps its stats will go up.
Also as someone else put Edge has not long been out as of yet it is still a baby compared to all the other Browsers out there

Hmmm. I do use it but less than I did. I must be part of the 32% who say they use it but don't.

I keep finding things it can't do (VPN, passwords) and I have to keep repairing it (deleting the IENetCache folder). Having said that I like the spartan look. Not given up on it yet....

As for stats, since it is only available on Windows 10..the stats refer to Windows 10 users only. The total Edge users worldwide amount to something like .01 percent of entire internet users.

Edge IMO is a mess, outside of NO extensions, the simply fact that it imports bookmarks backwards and has literally no bookmark manager of any type is my biggest complaint. Not only that, it has no way to easily reset it, as IE, FF, Chrome, Opera, Safari, and every other browser on the internet has. I have over 300 bookmarks and to hand move everyone of those, is crazy. I use my Chrome extensions far too much to ever switch.

The only thing less desirable then Edge, is perhaps Windows 10.

If you don't like it why are you using it, or if not using it how would you know.
Windows 10 is the OS I have never ever had trouble with
I have used right from windows 3.1 upwards and even DOS.
    Worst was Vista.
So at last Microsoft have got it right with Edge, Bing, Cortana and 10
