Actually since the last few updates, my IE11 has been rock solid, and as far as Chrome goes, it has NEVER crashed on either of my 2 windows computers.
IE11 & Edge are both solid for me, never have any crashes in either of them, use both daily depending on the sites I am viewing
Cant comment on Chrome as I don't use it very often, but I do have it installed and keep it updated to latest version, just open it every few weeks to see if anything has changed
All browsers are rock solid for me, just some are more quirky than others!
YouTube still won't keep playing in Edge when minimized to the taskbar!
They gotta get it to behave like a client and not an app in those respects.
I can't paste and go.
I can't highlight a word on a site, right-click and search with Google.
I can't easily reset the browser.
I can't install extensions (password manager anyone?).
I can't manage my bookmarks easily.
This was understandable during Insider Previews. It simply doesn't work for prime time.
Like most of the "Windows Accessories", Edge is just a "proof of concept" demo - in this case, something that will open web pages almost as fast as the main 3rd party browsers, and does little else, another toy.
At least, it's not so dangerous and insecure like earlier IE iterations were.
So, from a security point of view, in my opinion, Edge is very dangerous and insecure for the "average, not-so-savvy user".
