Yeah, that front yard is nice since we have 2 terasses on 2 levels. They are actually above the garages. We live on the first floor which in reality is the 3d floor because of the garages,

(My lighting is terrible that is the back of my head.) The safest place for data is in your own head. :)

The main thing I want Microsoft to tell me about OneDrive is how to completely uninstall every trace of it from my Win10 PCs. If they want to apologize for something, it can be about not making clear how to do that earlier.
You can completely disable it in gpedit, including synching stettings etc.

Thanks for warnings about keeping the 15GB. I just signed up. Had to give OD permissions to do so, but then backed out in settings.

lx07 - I'm not a photo person and have ignored the photo bonus until now. How do I grab that additional 15GB for photos?

I don't know if you still can but in the past you only had to upload one .jpg (could be anything even a screen print) then they would give you an extra 15GB "Camera Roll" Bonus.

Try taking a picture of yourself (or your wall if you prefer) using the Photo app. That should trigger it unless the bonus is cancelled now.

I'm not sure it's still available. If I remember correctly you had to enable auto upload your pictures on a Windows device.

I think I got it when I did the Phone Companion app on PC to link my Samsung S4 to One Drive auto photo upload. There's nothing stopping you from putting other file/docs in the Camera Roll folder, I just did it. It showed up in the "Cloud" in my Camera Roll folder (Photos).
