It's kind of worrying that we're updating our computers, but we have no idea why.
Got it too. Only thing that seems to have changed is the build number. Now 10586.17
This is what I found posted about it
Windows 10 version 1511 gets KB3116908 cumulative update
Microsoft delivers a new cumulative update to patch the latest version of Windows 10.
On December 2nd, Microsoft is pushing a new cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1511.
The new update is described as KB3116908, but at this time there is no support page defining what’s new with the new patch.
Interesting enough, KB3116908 brings Windows 10 version 1511 to build TH2 10586.17.
The update doesn’t seem to add any new features, as such we can only assume that it only contains improvements to enhance the functionality of the operating system.
(Updated information is coming as soon it becomes available.)
There seems to be network split personality here. If a PC can see the NAS and its shares, it can't see the other PC shares (80070035 err).
But if it can't see the NAS, it can see the other PC shares!
Wow, this is a big fix - not. Still smacks of SMB version problems to me.
Anyone else seeing this?
