Any remedies if rs1 is not showing in the build string on Insiders 10586.11?
It appears that you Insider settings are corrupt/missing. Unfortunately, based on my past experience this can somewhat difficult to repair. Do you have a backup image when your computer last showed Insider settings? If you do this is where I would start. Yes I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but until you get your Insider settings back to normal I do not think that you are going to see rs1_release in the Applicability key of the registry and it is unlikely that you will receive Redstone releases.
I was afraid of of that . I wonder if downloading the update settings repair tool might do something ,maybe restore an Insider opt in or instead wait for an in place update , MCT or ISO of the next test build or RS1 .
I don't have an image of an earlier test build just an older ISO for a test build way back in probably may 2014 .
I have little confidence that the update settings repair tool is going to fix the problem(s) with your Insider settings, but there is always the possibility that it could. Personally I would give it a try.
As a last ditch effort you could try deleting your Applicability key in the registry (export it first as a backup). It "should" be rebuilt automatically when WU runs. You may need to run WU more than once and you may have to restart your computer, but eventually it gets rebuilt in most cases.
