Is the Windows 10 Mobile build 10586 just for Mobile phone users ??
Thanks !
Thanks Edwin for the reply ! I had 2 friends download it to their desk computers & they said it runs smoother than the original dwnload of W10 !!
My bad !!!! They said theirs show Windows Home (64X) 1511 Build 10586 .... nothing about it being for Mobile, wonder if it's different ??
From what i understand there is a difference between the 2 systems !!
1. Windows 10 Mobile build 10586
2. Windows 10 Home (x64) (build 10586) <<< this is the one i just downloaded to my desk top so i guess it's not the same as the #1. above !!
So there is a difference with the 2 systems !!

Read more: http://winsupersite.com/windows-10/l...first-decemberAn updated Windows 10 Mobile page on the Microsoft site has revealed the first round of Lumia devices that will receive Windows 10 Mobile when it is ready. A communication recently indicated that Windows 10 Mobile will start its rollout about a month after Microsoft’s latest (Lumia 950 and 950XL) Windows 10 infused devices were offered publicly. If you take that as law, Windows 10 for Lumias should start rolling in mid-December for sure, but may make its debut earlier than that.
Windows 10. Do great Things: http://www.microsoft.com/en/mobile/windows10/
My phone is on the list. I have been using the Insider build and it runs great on my 640XL.
It`s a shame that Lumia 730 isn`t on the list . Is anyone running Insider Preview on that phone?
Microsoft Updates Glance Screen for Windows 10 Mobile with Additional Options, New UI
Read more: http://news.softpedia.com/news/micro...i-496772.shtmlMost of the changes included are related to tweaking
Microsoft is doing all sorts of optimizations and improvements to Windows 10 Mobile and most of its apps that may or may not be compatible with the new version of the operating system.
OneDrive recently received such an updated that added a few new features and improvements, but today, Microsoft implemented some tweaks to Glance Screen application for Windows 10 Mobile, NPU reports.
However, don't expect any new features to be included in this update, as Microsoft added lots several new options that users will be able to take advantage of once they upgrade to the latest version.
According to the cited source, there's a new option to show or hide date. Also, Glance Screen users will now be able to show or hide notifications icons.
As mentioned earlier, no new features have been included in this build, but with the latest version of Glance Screen users can show or hide detailed application status.
Source: http://wmpoweruser.com/lumia-camera-...ows-10-mobile/A month ago Microsoft announced that they would make Lumia Camera available Lumia 1020 users on Windows 10 Mobile. The app has several features not available in Microsoft Camera, including DNG RAW support.
At the time however the only way of getting the app was to downgrade to WP8.1, install the app and then upgrade again.
Now however the app is available to install directly for Lumia 1020 owners from the Windows Store. It does not appear to be available for other devices, with the store warning that “Your device is not compatible.”
Lucky Lumia 1020 owners can find the app in the store below.
I have update underway at the moment..
no idea what it is, I'll get back asap..
- just restarting..
..and it will be worth the wait..
seems more stable..
everything's running really sweet..!!
