Wasn't trying to start an argument. I'll bow out, now. :)
No argument. I appreciate the input. I thought I might have missed something and Edge actually does support extensions. I know that is not true and basically no one knows when it will be extensions-enabled. Thanks to all of you who responded.

At the present time Edge does not support any extensions/plugins. As new insider builds that lead up to RS1 we will hopefully see some idea as to the extensions /plugins that Edge will support and how. And by June/July of 2016 hopefully there will be Edge extensions in RS1.

Who knows, maybe one of the cumulative updates might address the need for extension support in Edge!

It's incredible that MS couldn't develop support for add-ons and extensions for Edge yet but on the other hand even if it came today it's going to take some time to make some meaningful ones, I don't think that there are some universal ones just per browser.

It supports Adobe Flash Player but not Microsoft Silverlight..

As far as I know, flash is built in, not an add-on and Silverlight is dead anyway.

Interesting, I thought it was still a add-on except you can't manually install it since it's called Security update for Internet Explorer, Adobe Flash Player. Didn't know Silverlight is dead.

Silver light is still being used by sites like sky go and that is the only way you can use sky go on a windows device.
