In deed, same here. But it runs like a Swiss clock: No error, no bug.

Good news , but silly question, does this mean the mct copy needs to be downloaded again to be up to date, or is the one we already downloaded several days ago still ok? Thanks.
There will be a cumulative update for those affected by the update. And I haven't a clue as to how MS can tell who will be/was affected. :)

    Yup . . . My bad . . . I misread.

A new, just-released cumulative update will restore the settings for anyone who previously upgraded.
The newly current November update won't change the settings that the former November update changed. However, that doesn't mean future updates won't change defaults I have set, dangit!

So far, every update has seen Firefox as my default browser replaced by Edge. And whatever possessed Microsoft to change my default printer to the last one used!

Keep yer mits offen my defaults, Microsoft!

After all that, my update finally went through, too, and I did not need to use the ISO...

After 4 failed update attempts (with no explanation as to why they failed), and then more than a week of WU telling me I was up to date, all of a sudden WU told me that it was preparing to install the update and was at 23%. OK. Sure. Twenty minutes later it was at 24%. Not promising. An hour later, still 24%... and then, from 24% it went to, "You have to reboot to complete update." Sure, let's give it a try, and sure enough it rebooted and did the install, and now I am 10586.14. Other than switching my default Web Browser to Edge, everything seems to be working...

    EXCEPT
I got a notice that CPU-ID (1.73) was disabled because it wasn't compatible. When I clicked for more info, it brough me to a web page that says "Your app isn't compatible with Windows Insider Preview."

Except, I am not a Windows Insider... Any idea why Windows thinks I am?

Whoa, and a few other things seem wonky... Namely, my Start Menu icons... Some of the Windows App ones that are there (Settings, Alarms/Clock) have changed and gotten pixelated-looking... Others, like my Chrome icon, has just turned to a grey square... If I switch it from size small to medium the icon appears again... But Chrome and Firefox icons now have a weird grey background instead of the default color background for the rest of my start menu apps, and my MS Office icons look weird now too... But all seem to work fine, so that's good...
