I guess it is random what version someone gets, then, but the user should be prepared to be disappointed.
    You've certainly right!

We’ve heard from our users that some localized versions of the TechBench websites no longer host the download links for Threshold 2, but you can use others to find the ISOs for any language you want. For example, the German TechBench website still allows you to download the removed files in English too, but make sure you select the version you want (use Google Translate if you don’t figure out how to do it).

And the ISO that I just downloaded 10 minutes ago was from the Dutch Tech-bench website that you linked to, so maybe it also has to do with the country of origin of the user, mine being US.

Strange.....! Looks so that some countries can not download and then only get the old build. Seems to be new ! ?

I get: First Major Update for Windows 10 Available-screenshot-148-.png

This may have already been mentioned, if it has my apologies. Too early in the morning to go over all the posts again. Another issue is with OEM embedded keys. If one is detected, its used automatically and you don't get to chose what's installed. I did a clean install on my wife's laptop which has an 8.0 Core key so 10 Home was installed with no prompt for a key. I had no choice or option to install Pro. Before doing the clean install with 10586 it was running 10 Pro 10240 with a digital entitlement. I then had to figure out how to get Pro back. I ended up doing a change product key and entering the generic Pro key. It then upgraded and activated. I've seen reports that others tried this and it upgraded but didn't activate. They then had to call Microsoft tech support to sort it out. Anybody that used say a Windows 8 Pro Pack to upgrade their OEM install would fall into this. If you did a clean install. Likely wouldn't happen if you did an upgrade. I had wiped the hard drive clean, there was no OS there to be detected.
