    It is like banging heads...

Download the ISO (which is 10586)

    To upgrade current OS -
DoubleClick the ISO to mount it - then run SETUP.EXE from within your current OS
this will upgrade/update your current OS to 10586 - keeping all your files and settings

To Clean Install Windows 10 (10586)
Create Bootable Media from the ISO and boot your PC from the Bootable Setup Media
This will Clean Install windows 10 - NOT keeping your files or settings
Won't it be similar to an upgrade over an existing build, unlike clean install.

Again similar to when you upgraded to Windows 10 in July, will not be like a clean install done after that initial upgrade. Is why i think on doing it from the ISO now. Meaning just running the setup on the ISO.
Yup jds63 that's how I installed it, asked me if I wanted to check for updates 1st, and I said yes.....then took me about 25 mins to finish upgrading and maybe after making my image backup, another 15 mins to remove the dam Windows.old folder, which was around 14GB. lol Everything seems to be running fine....so far.....did not do a clean install this time. Just updated. :)

Key word upgrade ! Just like July 29th before can do a clean install. Not liking that idea of running setup from the ISO.

Hi! Use Media Creation Tool (MCT) to install the Update. Recommended.....:)
I agree the media creation tool found all the current updates during set up and installed 10586.3 just fine so now this PC has 2
10586 .3 builds on it ,one is regular licened gen release and the other one is presumably the same thing on the Windows Insider hdd partition on this dual booter .

The Redstone builds for Insiders should be interesting presumably 10586.3 th2 is that last th2 build or no ? ☻☻

Sent from 10586.3 public build .

I usually use the Windows Insider builds on the other hdd partition for the daily driver but I'm spinning this one right now .
